Sahara Theater is located in Anaheim California. Based between the 57 and 5 freeway. You are always a short ride away, from a cali classic.

Which was true for me as I shot down the 57. I arrived sooner than expected, and was standing at the entrance watching the sign color change before I knew it.

They let me in the side door, because as you may have guessed, I know the owner. To my surprise an old friend was the waitress for the night. FREE refills!

Well, I think everyone gets a bottomless drink, but I was just happy that a familiar face was pouring. Didn’t waste anytime getting to the couch.

Lapped with the first girl that sat with me.

Then back to watch the stage show. The room is cozy, and views are unobstructed. I rather liked the layout. A center stage that just holds your attention.

You can’t take you eyes off it, or the girls either. The dj was on point, keeping the show going with minimal interruption.

After tipping him for a few song requests, I made a new friend for the night. Love how that works.

Kept getting dances with different girls. Pricing made it easy, nothing crazy.

Then I met the girl. The one I didn’t know I was looking for. I tipped her on stage, but that doesn’t always get their attention, kind of hard when bright lights are in your face.

But once she hit the floor, I wasted no time. I know some people like to wait for the girl. But she doesn’t know that i’m interested. She doesn’t know that I want to get dances.

Nothing wrong with walking up and opening with hello.

Took me 30 seconds to ask for a dance. But we were momentarily interrupted, by some wack job who thought it was cool to take some pictures.

No flash photography allowed, as this patron found out. The room pause to watch management delete the photos.

Then off to the couch. This girl was so awesome, kind enough to wait for the next song to start. After multiple specials. I needed a short break and another sprite.

My waitress friend gave me all the low down, and we had a few good laughs reminiscing about old times.

I asked her for some change and got a stack of ones. I threw the dj a big tip, and had him put the girl on stage.

If you have never made it rain, it’s something you have to try.

I made my new girl happy, and capped an awesome night. She asked when I would be back. I said I didn’t know, but I would be back to she her soon.

All in all, I can say with honesty “I LOVE SAHARA”.
